Why Choose Canberra?

Laser Technology for Effective Parts Manufacturing

Laser technology establishes a new dimension in parts processing. This productive work center is controlled by the latest state of the art CNC Technology. The laser features allow efficient processing of materials to a high degree of accuracy. The laser control and design features provide the customer with productivity, flexibility, and quality.

Economical Parts Production

Uninterrupted processing of an entire sheet minimizes part production time while the narrow kerf width generated by the laser enables maximum material utilization and increased profits for the customer.

Flexibility

A wide variety of materials can be processed on the CNC Laser Center, such as: Acrylic, ABS, Aluminum Brass, Ceramics, Cloth, Felt, Galvanized Steel, Inconel, Kevlar, Mild Steel, Mylar, Plastic, Plywood, Rubber, and Stainless Steel to name a few.

Improved Product Quality

A lower heat-affected zone than traditional thermal cutting processes minimizes distortion and improves part quality. Laser cutting produces an extremely narrow kerf which provides unmatched precision for cutting small holes, narrow slots, and closely spaced patterns. Complex openings, contours and patterns, impossible to cut with conventional tools, are routinely cut on the CNC Laser and require little, if any, additional processing.
